The FRL Series is a flameproof fusible resistor designed for circuit board protection applications. It combines resistance functionality with a defined fusing characteristic, providing a fusing time within 60 seconds under the specified test conditions.

The resistor uses a noncombustible insulating coating with solvent-proof and high-temperature-resistant properties. A 200 ppm/°C temperature coefficient provides a defined temperature characteristic for electronic circuit applications where resistance behavior and circuit protection need to be considered together.

With reference to IEC 60115-1 and JIS C 5201-1, the FRL Series is suitable for electronic component selection and circuit protection designs in Japan, Korea, and other markets requiring clearly defined electrical and environmental characteristics.
